Vista BootMgr reads incorrect BCD while booting

Hi friends,

I’ve a very interesting problem with Vista BootMgr.

I’ve a hard disk where Windows Vista is installed. And I’ve an image of that
hard disk in another disk. Now while booting from the other disk I observer
that BootMgr of second disk actually reads BCD of first disk !!! And not
from the other disk. Interesting enough !!!

Does anybody has an any clue why this might be happening ??

Thanks & Regards

Somsubhra Raj

Master/slave relationship between the two disks?
