Could not start IKEEXT service

Hi,

for reasons unknown, i cant start the IKEEXT service on my Vista 32 bit system. I always get a “13876” that simply translates to “Load failed”. Windows logfiles say pretty much the same with no more information. All dependend services are started but “IKEEXT” simply fails with that error code. ANY ideas would be higly appreciated. Thank you!

You might try running PROCMON and analyzing the capture events to try and
understand the failure.

You might also try attaching WinDBG to the SVCHOST instance which is going
to try and load IKEEXT and watch what happens.
