How to purge cache for memory mapped files.

Hi All
How can I flush and purge cache data for memory mapped file.

Well, volume dismount doesn’t get rid of the cached data content - it
just means that the data won’t be written back to the media. Of course,
when you remount the volume, FAT will happily connect the bits and
pieces back up, so you didn’t REALLY purge the cache, did you? :wink:

Somehow I suspect neither of these answers is going to make the OP
happy, but then again, we’re here to dispel the world’s illusions, not
make people happy.
