*Hello forum.*

https:</https:>*
* Description on converting of an wdk 7 project to wdk 10 project si
elaborated.*
*Looking at it closely, Visual studio 2015 does not have “Convert
Sources/Dirs” option found via the File Open menu item*
*NMake2MSBuild is absent in Visual studio 2015.*
*Would be grateful if someone could give an insight on how to achieve
conversion of an wdk 7 project to*
* wdk 10 project in a an environment that is visual studio 2015, Windows
10, windows driver install and windows sdk.*
* Thank you forum*
yes well I mentioned that in another discussion here. *NMake2MSBuild *had
many problems, and the resulting output was different from what the
“wizards” produce if you create a new driver project. In my experience the
“converted” projects were nothing but trouble when upgrading VS.
Create a new driver project using the wizard ui in VS and then populate it
with your driver sources. Choose a project that resembles what you are
trying to convert.
