'fraud detection checks'

Sorry to pollute the list with this, but I am concerned with the following message that gets inserted at the top of my posts:

[This sender failed our fraud detection checks and may not be who they appear
to be. Learn about spoofing at http://aka.ms/LearnAboutSpoofing]

Any ideas why this might be happening? My account is an O365 Exchange online account. Do I have to set up some DNS record or something?

I’m not sure there’s anything to “resolve” Mr. Ammerman.

You have some (unspecified) software that’s complaining about something (unspecified) to do with the way the list server sends its email. I’m not sure what the list server can do about that.

Perhaps if you look at your received email headers, you can learn something about what’s being complained about? In the case that this bothers you enough that you can’t just ignore it, email me off line with whatever data you have and I’ll try to help you get it sorted.
