My iscsi target serves cloned virtual disks (with win7) to clients. Is there a way to change their netbios names somehow before boot?
Is there some sort of means to change the computer name before entering windows? Is the idea of writing a driver to accomplish that reasonable?
After cloning, you must use SYSPREP tool (by MS) to reset some setup values, including NetBIOS name.
