IRP_MJ_PNP

Hi All, On plugging a disk, I am not getting IRP_MJ_PNP. Can anyone tell me the reason?

RE: IRP_MJ_PNP

File systems wouldn't get a PNP request on a device insertion. They'd get a mount request. File systems really only deal with the remove minor functions generally, unless you've written a rather unusual file system (or are filtering an unusual file system). Tony OSR
