VBCDEDIT Vista Boot Configuration Utility

Description

Save yourself the hassle of editing with BCDEDIT on Vista based operating systems by using this smooth gui-based utility. Select the configuration to be modified in the drop down box (if your dev system is like one of ours, you've got about a dozen choices) and click a check box for each option you wish to enable.

What's new in the VBCDEDIT Configuration Utility, V2.1   WIN7 Support

We converted VBCDEDIT to use XML (and you thought we were only good looking driver guys!) in order to determine what identifiers it handles and how they are handled.   Find a identifier that is not handled!  All you need to do is add it to the .XML file with the appropriate settings and off you go.    If you make changes please send them back to us so that the community can reap the benefits of your work....

BTW, you can right click on the items in the boot loader configurations list if you want to clone or delete a selected entry... I don't think that made it into the help....

Also, I'd like to thank Deepak Gupta and Martin O'Brien for all the help and feedback they gave OSR on this utility.  Keep the feedback coming.

"Better than BCDEDIT, but..."
The tool does not recognize "Real Mode" boot sector configurations (such as Windows XP installs or Ubuntu installed via Wubi). Using the tool helped me use BCDEDIT to fix what I needed, but the tool itself didn't work well for me.

"VBCDEDIT"
It would be nice to have seen the "loadoptions" available as well. This can be a pain to add and remove manually. I used it with busparams switch for usb debug.
