Unable to place breakpoint through source/linenumber

This is a fairly standard thing I used to do but all of a sudden, with: 0:000> bu `module!filename.cpp:143` I get: Matched: module!ns::class::method+0x16a (508f7e47) Matched: module!ns::class::method+0x1a0 (508f7e7d) Ambiguous symbol error at '`module!filename.cpp:143`' ^ Extra character error in 'bu `module!filename.cpp:143`' I gave it a line number and a source file. How much more unambiguous can I be? I don't understand that extra character complaint either.

It looks to me that you're using back-quotes (`) instead of normal single quotes (').
