Copy TAEF binaries fails in DF- InfVerif INF Verification test on USB serial driver

Hello,

I am trying to run DF tests on USB serial driver. However, it is failing in
the copy TAEF binaries stage itself with the error that it is not able to
find pattern “\serverName\TaefBinaries*” and also error returned from
EnableShareAccess to the root of “\serverName\TaefBinaries\x64”.

I tried to copy the folder TAEF from \Windows Kits\10\Testing\Runtimes\ in
the server to Windows Kits\10\Testing\Runtimes in the client as well. It is
still not working.

I have admin access on both client and server. I am running the tests from
the admin account. I am able to ping client from server and vice-versa.

Client: Running windows version 1607
Server: Windows Server 2012 R2
HCK: Version 1607

Please help.

Thank you,

*Warm regards,*

Hi,
Did you try installing the HCK client as part of your setup process. The TAEF process should be covered and work well if the HCK client is properly installed.

Regards,
Balaji.

Disable firewall on both client and server.

The issue was with the Te.service being disabled on the server. Once I
started it, it worked fine. Thanks for all your suggestions
