Network debug failure

On one client this is working OK, on another, it isnt.

The Microsoft Kernel Debug Network Adapter does not appear in the network connections snap in. (The client only has one network card).

bcdedit is set up correctly, the key that bcdedit provides is being used. Both machines on the same subnet, they can ping. No errors in event viewer.

The NIC is debug capable, an intel 0x1533 device.

kdnic is set to demand start.

There isnt anything else I can think of, does anyone here have any pointers?

Sigh, and as always, within minutes of posting I realise I hadnt set bcdedit /debug on

I assumed the device had been used for debugging already, it hadnt, it was a new rack card I am working with.

Woods for trees or what. Oh well, a salutary lesson in dotting i’s and crossing t’s.
