Re[2]: Driver Update

In addition to the other suggestions, understand that some drivers can't=20 be installed/updated without a reboot ... easily. Some layered file system designs, kmdf drivers with a more recent coinstaller and some disk/volume filters come to mind. Re[2]: Driver Update

If you target Win8 and later with kmdf there is no need for a coinstaller, this no reboot related to changing the installed version of kmdf as it doesn't happen anymore Bent from my phone ________________________________ From: xxxxx@lists.osr.com <xxxxx@lists.osr.com> on behalf of PScott <xxxxx@KernelDrivers.com> Sent: Monday, May 15, 2017 3:17:46 PM To: Windows System Software Devs Interest List Subject: Re[2]: [ntdev] Driver Update In addition to the other suggestions, understand that some drivers can't be installed/updated without a reboot ... easily.
