Apparently, the good old days of certificate files are gone. I just got
a note from GlobalSign telling me that, effective January 30, 2017, ALL
code-signing certificates (not just EV) will be delivered on USB tokens.

That’s sad.

At least you can still download the cert online… even if you have to download it onto one of those infernal eTokens. At least, that’s how Symantec/Verisign/whatever-they’re-called did it for our last EV Cert.
